ACC announces Congo -- the world's first voice router; configuring Congo Voice Router is as easy as 1-2-3 with Web Wizard, a revolutionary new configuration installation tool

Advanced Computer Communications Inc. (ACC), the leading provider of network access solutions for the home, office and enterprise, will introduce at Networld+Interop 96, Congo Voice Router, the ideal multimedia remote access solution that integrates voice, data, fax and modem traffic over one cost-effective ISDN BRI line for communications and information access.
Congo Voice Router is a high speed access device that lets users access the power of ISDN for all their small office or home office communications. With two analog POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) ports, users can connect any two analog devices to the Congo Voice Router. Transmit and receive data on the computer, talk on the phone, or send and receive faxes all at the same time -- over a single ISDN basic rate line.
Smaller than most modems, Congo Voice Router is perfect for desktop operation. It has a 10BaseT Ethernet, a Basic Rate ISDN connection and two RJ11 interfaces. The software supports 802.1D bridging and TCP/IP routing plus a suite of features including PAP and CHAP authentication, CallingLine ID, standards-based Multilink PPP, and intelligent contention and routing of audio calls to the two analog phone ports. Congo Voice Router is also SNMP and Telnet manageable. An optional IP/IPX model -- the only single unit solution of its kind on the market today -- supports IPX/SPX Spoofing and Demand IPX RIP/SAP.

Users of all levels -- from the home Internet surfer to the sophisticated small office professional -- can easily configure Congo Voice Router in a matter of minutes for fast ISDN access from their PC.
Running on the user's PC, Web Wizard is an independent platform using a World Wide Web browser interface. Drawings and photographs guide the user through complete router installation, configuration and connection to the ISDN network. In addition, Web Wizard provides optional tutorials on ISDN technology as well as, "How to Order Your ISDN Service from Your Service Provider." The entire process can be accomplished within minutes from the user's PC -- all without opening a manual. On-line help is provided through hot links.
Bandwidth Optimization Provides Maximum Performance
Congo Voice Router supports ACC's exclusive Bandwidth Optimization features at no additional charge. These features include Data Compression, Express Queuing, and advanced dialing techniques. Data Compression increases the amount of information sent over the ISDN link by a factor of 4:1. This means faster data transfers and faster Internet web access, all resulting in less connect time.
Express Queuing provides automatic dynamic allocation of available bandwidth on a per session basis, yielding predictable network response times. Dial on Demand initiates calls only when there is actual data to be transferred. And Dial on Congestion allows the second ISDN B channel to be used dynamically to handle peaks in demand. Most importantly, these Bandwidth Optimization features can be used together to provide maximum performance when accessing corporate databases or surfing the internet while achieving maximum savings.

Pricing and Availability
Congo Voice Router pricing starts at $995 (US) and will be available in six flavors: Bridging only with S/T or U interface; IP with S/T or U interface; and IP/IPX with S/T or U interface. Congo Voice Router begins shipping in the second quarter.
