FED:PM sends message to soldiers' families

SYDNEY, Aug 21 AAP - Prime Minister Julia Gillard has sent her condolences to the families
of two Australian soldiers killed in Afghanistan.

"Obviously as a nation, we've lost two very brave men," she told reporters at the Richmond
Air Force Base on Saturday.

"And there are families in this nation today that have lost two men they love very much.

"As prime minister, on behalf of the nation, I express my condolences to the families
of Thomas Dale and Grant Kirby.

"They have received the worst news families could get."
