IF there is one position that is totally up for grabs in the South African Test team, it is that of specialist spin bowler.

There were three bowlers who took five wickets in an innings in last weekend's opening round of the SuperSport Series - Claude Henderson, Con de Lange and Johan Botha - but they all did it in the first innings and not in the second, when they were meant to bowl their respective sides to victory.

In fact, not one of them ended up on the winning side.
