Iowa State reserve guard Charles Boozer was arrested over the weekend after a woman told police he slapped and kicked her.
Police commander Mike Brennan says Boozer was charged with simple assault, a misdemeanor, on Saturday in Ames. A complaint accuses Boozer of slapping the woman in the face, pushing her to the ground and kicking her in the side.
