US Patent Issued to Lot 3 Acquisition Foundation on April 5 for "Video Surveillance Visual Recognition" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 12 -- United States Patent no. 7,920,626, issued on April 5, was assigned to Lot 3 Acquisition Foundation LLC (Wilmington, Del.).

"Video Surveillance Visual Recognition" was invented by Dennis Sunga Fernandez (Woodside, Calif.) and Irene Hu Fernandez (Woodside, Calif.).

According to the abstract released by the U.

S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Integrated imaging and GPS network monitors remote object movement. Browser interface displays objects and detectors. Database stores object position movement. Cameras detect objects and generate image signal. Internet provides selectable connection between system controller and various cameras according to object positions."

The patent was filed on March 29, 2001, under Application No. 09/823,508.
